Prince Andrew is now a pariah and he has no-one to blame but himself.

For some unbeknownst reason he agreed to a “no holds barred” television interview about his relationship with the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The interview was shocking in its total disregard to Epstein’s multiple victims, including women who were abused under the legal age of consent. It was vile in that he failed to condemn Epstein at all.

The full interview can be viewed below.

Andrew was summoned to Buckingham Palace to see his mother, The Queen, and told that he had to withdraw from the public eye, stop all public duties, The Sun reported. Prince Andrew, the Queen’s favourite son, was the patron of more than 200 charities, non-for-profit organisations and universities, many of which have cut ties with him since the trainwreck interview.

Prince Charles, who is in New Zealand, had told his mother that the reaction to Prince Andrew’s interview was destroying the Royal Family’s image and that he had to become a pariah, The Sun reported.

Prince Andrew has agreed to be stripped of all duties and step away from his patronages. The action means Prince Andrew loses his Sovereign Grant allowance.

He also pledged to co-operate with authorities investigating Epstein, opening him up to further scrutiny.

“It was a devastating moment for both of them. His reputation is in tatters,” a friend of Prince Andrew told The Sun.

“It is unlikely he will ever perform royal duties again. He is disgraced.”

A woman abused by Epstein, Virginia Giuffre claims she was forced to have sexual intercourse with Prince Andrew, now 59, three times when she was just 17 years old and known as Virginia Roberts.

Giuffre was photographed with Prince Andrew’s arm around her waist when she was 17 and alleges she had sex with Prince Andrew in London, New York and on Epstein’s private island just northeast of St Thomas.

Prince Andrew has strenuously denied the allegations.

Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire financier, was convicted by a Florida state court of procuring an underage girl for prostitution and of soliciting a prostitute in a plea deal in 2008. Epstein was arrested again on 6 July 2019 for the sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York. He died in his jail cell on 10 August 10 2019.
