Rihanna took to Instagram to reveal herself in the new lingerie for her label Savage x Fenty.
Rihanna really is an inspiration.
As a singer, the 31-year-old has had hit number one song after hit number one song (14 in the US alone), nine Grammy Awards, 13 American Music Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards and six Guinness World Records.
As an actress, Rihanna starred as hacker Nine Ball/Leslie in the 2018 movie Ocean’s 8, which grossed US$300 million worldwide; the 2017 acclaimed movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and this year, stars in the musical film Guava Island, which was released in April.
As a businesswoman, she launched her first fragrance, Reb’l Fleur, in January 2011, followed by Rebelle in February 2012, Nude in November 2012, Rogue and Rogue Men in September 2014.
In September 2017, Rihanna launched cosmetics company Fenty Beauty under LVMH’s Kendo Brands. Time Magazine awarded Fenty Beauty one of “The 25 Best Inventions of 2017”.
And, of course, the 31-year-old Barbados-born woman is a fashion star. She became creative director of Puma in 2014, overseeing the women’s clothes and footwear.
Together with socialite Kylie Jenner, the Puma label was reborn to acclaim and burgeoning sales thanks to Rihanna. She became the first woman to be awarded Footwear News‘s coveted Shoe of the Year award.
In 2014, Rihanna received the Fashion Icon Award at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards.
Rihanna last year launched lingerie brand Savage X Fenty. Her fashion brand Fenty, launched under luxury fashion group LVMH, was announced this month.
Rihanna recently posted on her Instagram, photographs of her wearing Savage X Fenty’s new range.
“New Savage drops tomorrow, sis. This bodysuit will have you serving a whole sheen and sheer mood,” she said in the caption.
Another photo pictures Rihanna throwing her head back while wearing stunning high heels with stockings and a gold metallic bra.
“My like is that of a music fan,” the artist Diplo wrote.
The lingerie line debuted at a pop-up shop in Paris on May 24 and went online on May 29.
