Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has secured her first job in her post-Royal era.
The 38-year-old Meghan Markle is narrating a Disneynature documentary Elephants. All money she received for the part is going to the charity Elephants Without Borders, which is an organisation dedicated to conserving wildlife and helps protect the animals from poaching.
The release of the Meghan Markle-voiced documentary will go ahead as planned – on Disney+ on 3 April – to coincide with Earth Month, which begins next Wednesday, despite the coronavirus pandemic. The film will also raise money for the charity Elephants Without Borders.

It will mark the first project for Meghan Markle after she and her husband Prince Harry officially step away from their roles within the British Royal Family on 31 March.
Meghan Markle, who played Rachel Zane in the TV drama Suits from 2011-2018, and Prince Harry have been living at a Vancouver Island waterfront mansion since announcing they no longer wanted to be part of the “Senior Royals”.
The Duke and Duchess, along with their 10-month-old son Archie, have now left Canada for good and have flown by private jet to a new home in Los Angeles, beating the coronavirus border closure imposed by US President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Harry, Meghan and Archie are now in self-isolation for two weeks.
“Harry and Meghan have left Canada now for good. The borders were closing and flights were stopping. They had to get out,” a source told The Sun.
“But this move was planned for some time. They realised Canada would not work out for various reasons and they want to be based in the Los Angeles area.
“They have a big support network there. It’s where their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs and business managers are based. Meghan has lots of friends there and, of course, her mum Doria.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Archie are living in a home near Hollywood.
“For Meghan, this type of work is going to be coming out of Hollywood going forward,” the source told The Sun.
“She feels comfortable there around her people and has projects already planned like her children’s book.”
